One of the biggest fears buyers and sellers have when they select a real estate agent is that they really don’t know much about the agent and how they work unless someone else referred them.

Let me explain how I work so you can determine if I’m the type of agent you would like to have help you buy or sell your home. 

How I Work

I believe that my role is to be your real estate consultant, not your salesperson.  I say that because I truly enjoy educating people on how the real estate process works and I believe the decision to buy or sell a home is yours, not mine. 

Most agents spend the majority of their time constantly searching for new clients either by knocking on doors or telemarketing at night. 

I work differently.

I am a member of a professional business development group made up of realtors and lenders called By Referral Only®.  As a member of this organization, my main focus is to make the experience of buying and selling a home so enjoyable for my clients that I will earn their heartfelt endorsements and the referrals of their friends, family members and co-workers.

By Referral Only® does not mean that I only work with those who were referred to me.  It simply means that my focus is on providing a first class experience for my current clients rather than constantly searching for new clients.

As a result of running my business this way, I’ve been able to implement some innovative systems for my clients like my free HomeFinder Service for buyers and my Maximum Exposure Marketing Plan for sellers.

BACKGROUND

Graduated from California State University – Northridge with a degree in Finance and Real Estate.  Upon graduation, was employed at PaineWebber as an investment advisor specializing in equity management, retirement planning, and estate planning.

Joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a financial analyst in the Financial Advisory Services Group.  Specialized in real estate valuation, strategic planning, and cash flow analysis.

Prior to joining REMAX Olson, worked independently as a real estate broker specializing in residential property. 

Teaches real estate courses at The Learning Tree University in Thousand Oaks and Chatsworth.  Resides with wife Melissa and sons Nicholas and Jack and is an active member of the community.
