How
I Help You Find Your
Dream
Home...
One
of the biggest fears a homebuyer has when they select a real estate agent
is that they really don’t know much about the agent and how they work unless
someone else referred them.
Let
me explain how I work so you can determine if I’m the type of agent you
would like to have help you find your home.
I
specialize in helping people in the Conejo Valley like you take the big
step to owning their own home.
I
believe that my role is as a real estate consultant, not a salesperson.
I say that because I truly enjoy teaching new people how the whole process
works (I teach a homebuyer class at the Learning Tree University, for scheduling
and information, click here).
I
know how intimidating the process can be from getting a loan to the closing
of escrow. I understand that once you start telling your friends
and family that you are considering buying a home, you will get inundated
with well intentioned tips and advice that will only add to your confusion.
Hopefully
I can help alleviate some of your fears.
If
you decide you would like to meet with me in person, the first thing I
like to do is schedule a consultation. This is a free consultation
with absolutely no obligation. This meeting will give you an
opportunity to decide if I’m the type of person you would be comfortable
working with and I can determine if I’m the agent that can help you meet
your goals and expectations.
During
this meeting, we’ll discuss how the whole process works from financing
to inspections to searching for a home to the closing of escrow.
We’ll discuss the strategies available to make you the strongest buyer
possible so you will be in an excellent negotiating position.
We’ll also start the process of getting you pre-approved
for a loan. This meeting will give you a feel for exactly what I
do for you.
If
you are already receiving properties from me via my Home
Finder Service, we’ll go over your goals and expectations more thoroughly.
I’ll assist you in determining what neighborhoods would be best for you,
what neighborhoods to stay away from, what compromises you may want to
consider, and what is important from an investment and resale standpoint.
If
you are ready, we can also go out and drive around so I can show you what
neighborhoods and tracts are within your price range. We can even
start looking at homes at this point if you would like. I spend
a lot of my time showing homes in the $100,000-$600,000 price range.
I am confident that I can help you determine what neighborhoods would
be best for you.
As
we continue your search over the next several days or weeks, I’ll have
a better idea of exactly what you are looking for and I’ll be searching
for you much more often and email or call you when any new or reduced properties
become available.
At
no time will you ever be pressured to buy a home with me.
You
decide what the best home is for you and you tell me. I will advise
and guide you, but the decision to write an offer is yours and I respect
that.
Once
you decide on a home, I’ll help you determine the offer price and we’ll
discuss our strategy to get you the best price and terms possible.
We’ll also discuss the contracts and your rights as a buyer.
Once
the offer is accepted and we open escrow, I will lead you through the
whole process. I will schedule and attend your inspections, and
guide you through the abundance of paperwork you will receive. It
is my job to oversee the escrow for you, and I will make sure everything
is done in a timely manner and you don’t miss any of your deadlines.
(All
of these services I provide you to help find the best home for your needs
are completely free to you. I am paid by the home seller if you
decide to buy a home).
Once
escrow closes, other issues may arise that require my assistance.
I am always available to you. My goal is to be your real estate
consultant for life.
I’m
a firm believer in the importance of customer service. If I deliver
beyond your expectations and make the experience as pleasurable as possible,
than I know I will earn your referrals. Referrals are the lifeblood
of my business because it frees up my time to do the best job possible
for my current clients rather than spending my day searching for new clients.
Thanks
for taking the time to read a little about how I work. If I sound
like the type of agent you would like to work with, please feel free to
contact
me anytime.
